Do Californians even have an accent?

When I explored this question in a feature for The California Report, it created a huge buzz among public radio audiences throughout the state. Here’s what happened:

• Spawned a multiplatform statewide audience engagement series co-produced by KQED and KPCC
• The most shared story of the week on NPR’s Facebook page
• The talk show Forum expanded the story in a one-hour segment
• LA Weekly’s blog picked up the story
